Advantages: 
  • Nice, almost pleasant, user interface
  • Has email integration (you see your regular emails inside Hubspot)
  • Has email tracking (who opened it, read it, who visited your website, etc)

  • Has website building module to build your marketing pages or your whole website (Expensive for small businesses. Starts at €326 per month)
Disadvantages: 
  • If you are the only person managing the CRM (and you do not have an admin that controls and configures the system for you), you might find that some functions are very difficult to do with the user interface of HubSpot. For example, if you are reading an incoming email on HubSpot, you have the options to Block the sender as Spam, but you do not have the option to Ignore the sender so that future emails do not land inside the CRM.
  • Your free account can easily be blocked from sending emails if your bounce rate is high. For example, if you import in the system a list of customers (you have the right to do that as they have made a transaction with you) and while sending them a mass email the bounce rate or the unsubscription rate is high, your account can be blocked. The guidelines tell you how you can object to this, but the action button is missing from the user interface.
